There’s a new reason to head out in Haddon Township—and no, it’s not the weekend yet. Launched on Thursday, July 31st, Haddon Township introduced "Almost Friday": a brand-new town-wide happy hour happening every Thursday from 3–6PM.
What's Happening?
Your favorite local bars and restaurants will be rolling out exclusive food and drink specials to help you get a jumpstart on the weekend. We’re talking cocktails at Central Taco & Tequila, brews at The Taproom, bites at Goodbeet and The Pourhouse, and plenty more.
This isn’t just any happy hour—it’s a local effort backed by the township and small businesses to bring energy (and foot traffic!) to the neighborhood. Mayor Randall Teague called it “a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, support local businesses, and celebrate what Haddon Township has to offer.”
A Wet Town
And what Haddon Township has to offer? Well—let’s just say it's known as the spot to go for a drink. Unlike neighboring dry towns like Collingswood and Haddonfield, Haddon Township has long embraced its nightlife scene. So while folks in surrounding towns might have to drive (or jump on the PATC) for a good cocktail or craft beer, they’ve been coming here for years. And “Almost Friday” makes that even easier.
