Haddon Township Pride returns on June 4th and 5th 2026 for its sixth year, bringing two days of celebration, visibility, community connection, and local pride back to Haddon Avenue and Haddon Square.
This year’s theme “Full Circle” reflects both the growth of HT Pride over the last six years and the continued importance of creating spaces where people feel seen, welcomed, and supported.
According to organizers, the theme represents “community, resilience, visibility, and showing up for one another,” while also honoring the ongoing work of advocacy, inclusion, and connection happening throughout Haddon Township and beyond.
For many residents, HT Pride has evolved into far more than a single parade or weekend event. It has become one of the largest and most meaningful community gatherings in South Jersey, bringing together neighbors, local businesses, performers, volunteers, nonprofits, families, and visitors from across the region.
And the numbers reflect that growth: in 2025, HT Pride welcomed more than 8,000 attendees, over 4,000 parade participants, nearly 200 community and business groups, and hundreds of volunteers and sponsors supporting the event throughout the weekend. This year’s events are expected to be even bigger.
HT Pride Parade Returns June 4th
The HT Pride Parade takes place on Thursday, June 4th at 6PM along Haddon Avenue, beginning at Crystal Lake Avenue and continuing to Strawbridge Avenue.
The parade has become known for its nonstop energy and community involvement, with music, performances, floats, local organizations, and businesses filling the avenue throughout the evening. Rather than a traditional stop-and-watch parade format, performers and participants move continuously along the route, creating an experience that feels active and immersive from beginning to end.
Road closures along Haddon Avenue will begin after 4PM, and attendees are strongly encouraged to take the PATCO Speedline to Westmont Station due to limited parking availability throughout the area.
The JFKLiving Team will once again be participating in the parade with a float, and members of the community are invited to walk alongside the team. Participants planning to join the JFKLiving group are encouraged to arrive between 4:30PM and 5PM along Crystal Lake Avenue before the parade begins.
Pride + Progress Community Night Comes To Haddon Square
The celebration continues on Friday, June 5th with Pride + Progress Community Night at Haddon Square beginning at 5:30PM.
This year’s Pride + Progress Community Night is proudly sponsored by The JFKLiving Team and will feature performances, community organizations, inclusive vendors, activities, resources, and opportunities for education and connection.
While the parade focuses heavily on celebration and visibility, the Friday night event also creates space for reflection, conversation, and support for the organizations and individuals continuing advocacy work throughout the community.
Organizers describe the event as “an open invitation to our community and beyond to celebrate LGBTQIA+ pride, learn, connect with inclusive vendors and organizations, and honor the people who made today’s joy possible.”
Why Events Like HT Pride Matter To Haddon Township
Part of what makes Haddon Township unique is the way community events are embraced not just as entertainment, but as opportunities to strengthen connection between neighbors, local businesses, schools, organizations, and residents.
Events like HT Pride help shape the identity of a town. They create traditions. They encourage people to show up for one another. And they reinforce the sense that Haddon Township is a place where community participation genuinely matters.
For local businesses and organizations, supporting HT Pride is also an investment in the kind of community they want to help build and be part of long-term.
At The JFKLiving Team, community involvement has always been a major part of how we approach our business, whether that means sponsoring local events, supporting nonprofits, highlighting local businesses, or simply helping more people discover what makes towns like Haddon Township feel special to live in.
